Mr Brebner is the Principal of Edgecumbe Primary School. He leads us on an exciting learning journey and ensures we are exposed to the best modern and researched educational practice.
Whaea Jeanette is a familiar face in Edgecumbe. She is the Middle School team leader and is innovative and knowledgeable in using technology to support learning. Her class, Room 6, are Room 11's amazing buddy readers.
Whaea Daniele teaches her sparkly class in Room 4. She is always bright and bubbly, keeps us young, and can be seen lending a helping hand to us all.
Introducing Mrs Mitchell. This year Kate has taken on a dual role, being our Reading Recovery teacher as well as sharing her lovely Room 8 class with Ms. Beattie. She is busy sharing her special strengths.
Meet Mrs Carter. You can meet her in all areas of our school, assisting both pupils and teachers to implement the best learning programmes.
Ms. Beattie is our Deputy Principal. This year we are very lucky to have her in the Junior Team so that Mrs Mitchell can assist 6 year olds in the Reading Recovery programme.
Whaea Sarah is the Resource Teacher of Literacy. She assists teachers and pupils in schools in our local area. We are very lucky to have her based in our Edgecumbe Primary and sharing her valuable expertise.
Mrs Thompson is likely to share the first smile you will receive when you visit our school. She is our office administrator and a friend to everyone.
Look at Whaea Jo's smile. She leads the Lockwood Year 7 and 8 team, and I promise her smile and help are never far away.
Meet Juan Haimona. He keeps all our Information technology in optimum order and also assists in all our sports activities. He is always much in demand, and a friend to all.
You will be familiar with Mrs Clark, an exceptional teacher who teaches our Year 2/3 students in the Junior school. She and husband Bill have 2 children. Sam is a competitive endurance sportsman who is making a name for himself around the world.
Introducing Whaea Lesa who arrived from Putauaki School this term. We are so lucky to have her with her big friendly smile and wonderful teaching skills. I know Room 7 can't wait to greet her each morning!
Welcome also to Matua Brett who is teaching our Year 7 and 8 pupils in the Lockwood. He alternates between providing the best learning opportunities for his class and motivating us all with sports in the playground. We are delighted to have you.
